Krispy Kreme Peach Cobbler Egg Rolls W/ Cinnamon Sugar

What is one thing you always wanted but just never thought about trying it SWEET EGG ROLLS! I'm just playing to be honest with you I think I was a little high when I thought of this idea. I had someone tell me peach cobbler sounds so good but I bet you can make it more inventive and exciting. So you know what I look around, tried different concepts, and came up with this work of art. Hopefully you guys like it!

Egg Rolls

Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh or frozen peaches, Peeled and sliced

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 6 Krispy Kreme glazed donuts, torn into pieces

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • About 30 to 40 egg roll wrappers

  • High heat oil to deep fry (vegetable or grapeseed oil are my favorite)

  • little bit of cinnamon and powder sugar mix together

Instructions

  1. Grab a large bowl and mix the first four ingredients together.

  2. In another bowl put the butter, brown sugar, and vanilla extract. Whisk them together and add the torn donut pieces inside the bowl. Mush the donuts enough in the sauce until they become soggy.

  3. Add half of the donuts in a greased 9 x 9 baking pan on the bottom. Then add the peach mix on the top. Then add the other half of the donuts on top of the peach mix.

  4. In a preheated 350 degree oven add the pan for 30 mins or until the top of the donuts are golden brown.

  5. Remove from the oven and let it cool down.

  6. Line the egg roll wrappers in a stack, grab a small bowl of water, and grab a small bowl of cornstarch.

  7. For each one of the egg roll wrappers add the peach cobbler inside then wrap them while gluing the ends with a touch of water. (The egg roll wrapper package will have instructions on how to wrap them properly)

  8. To not make them stick to each other in a pan or plate. Add cornstarch to each of them.

  9. Then add oil in a pot and heat up on low medium heat or until it reaches 350 degrees.

  10. Add each egg roll into the oil for at 3 minutes or until golden brown.

  11. Wait till they cool down and roll into the cinnamon sugar

Shelf life

Place in the fridge for at least 3 to 5 days.
