This Blueberry syrup is really thick and delicious. It great on any breakfast bread or dessert. It not really sugary and has a very decadent flavor of blueberry in it. I would definitely put this on your to do list if you love syrup just as much as I do.
Yield: 8 oz
1/2 cup of granulated sugar
1/2 cup of water
1 tbsp of cornstarch
1 tbsp of lemon juice (fresh is better)
2 cups of blueberry
Add sugar, water, cornstarch, and lemon juice inside medium pot
Boil then add blueberries
Boil for 10 mins then cool and strain through fine mesh strainer in a glass container
Leave in the fridge for at least a month for max freshness.
